Board at Cloister – but certainly not bored!

Cloister Mark Lodge’s first meeting of the new season kicked off with the ‘Lecture on the Tracing Board of the Degree of Mark Master Mason’. Unfortunately, Cloister’s September meeting always clashes with the September Meeting of Grand Mark Lodge.
Bro. Alan Ledger being congratulated by W. Bro. Brian Cross, Master
and W. Bro. N. F. Paton, Secretary

As many distinguished Brethren were unable to attend, the Secretary made contact with the two Mark Lodges in our neighbouring Province (Cheshire) who meet at Stockport Guildhall. As a result of this invitation several Brethren from Cornwall Legh Mark Lodge No. 839 attended Cloister Mark’s meeting.

After the preliminary business on the Summons was quickly dispatched, it was time for the ‘main event’.
Bro. Alan Ledger, a Mark Master Mason of Coronation Mark Lodge No. 563, took to the floor and delivered an excellent performance.
Bro. Alan’s delivery was done in such a fluent and eloquent style, the assembled Brethren were captivated by his presentation (and his exemplary recall of Masonic ritual).

On finishing his presentation, the Lodge erupted in rapturous applause and the WM thanked Bro. Alan for his work. The Lodge then retired where the Brethren of the two neighbouring Mark Provinces enjoyed a very convivial Social Board.
A reciprocal visit is planned in the very near future to Cornwall Legh Mark Lodge.
